but…
If you are looking to find out more about the “RSS Subscribe†Button, please get a cup of coffee or beverage of you choice and read through the following.
What is this RSS Subscribe?
Here is a link to the simplest explanation of what a RSS (Really Simple Syndication) Subscribe is and does.

Our explanation follows :
Our “Foodlinks Newletter†updates twice a month, most websites remain constant, and do not change much. News sites change monthly, daily, and in some cases hourly or by even by the minute. These are all called ‘Feeds’.
With a RSS Feed, users can use their Internet Browsers to Subscribe to these Blogs, and News feeds. The different Browsers have different ways of handling RSS feeds. When users setup there browsers to do so, they have one place to go to see if anything has changed, instead of having to go to each website, and search through the pages to see the latest information. The users collection of the different news feeds and blogs is called aggregation.
Different forms of aggregation :
1) It can be a separate application from the internet browser on their computer. To me this is a bit too much, unless you work for CNN, since most Web Browsers are capable handling individuals RSS needs.
2) In a Web Browser, accessing RSS Feeds, which one has subscribed, all you have to do is click the RSS Button saved in the Bookmark Bar of the Browser, or like in Adobe’s Opera Browser, which adds the Feed to its ‘Feed Menu’ located in the Menu bar.
3) Also when using an internet browser, your subscribed RSS’s can be viewed from a particular service offered in the form of a Blog/Feed Reader. An good example would be Google’s “Google Readerâ€, where you can add the different links for your collection of RSS Feeds. Therefore having one place to go to and be able to see all the RSS Feeds you have subscribed to, and all updates will be listed under the feeds.

TEFAP Alliance Org’s website currently has two Blogs, the “Foodlinks America” and the “Washington Updateâ€. Since the “Foodlinks America†Newsletter is updated bi-monthly it has an “RSS Subscribe†but it has been taken off the “Washington Update†as it is no longer updated.
Please note that both Newsletters have an “Archive†Button, at the bottom of each of their opening Blog pages, where all the newsletters are referenced.
The RSS Subscribe for “Foodlinks America†keeps a list of the current six newsletters (the last three months) for quick reference.

So, if your web browser does not have RSS Feed capability built into it,
1) Check to see that you have the latest version of the particular Browser you are using, i.e. Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Firefox, etc. Check the version of your browser and then go to the applicable site and check for the latest version. Most the time there is a link to Download the update and instructions on how to do so for your particular computer type.
2) you can sign up to sites that have a aggregation service where you can have all your news feeds and blogs located in one place. I recommend the Service offered by Google called ‘Google Reader’.
3) Check for an RSS/ATOM Reader Application for your Computer. Go to there site and download and install and use it.
